One Summer in Boracay

Every summer is a summer to remember with wonderful moments, memorable experiences, and the meeting of new friends. Who wouldn't enjoy such getaway?

I love the beach. White sand, sea shells, fruit shakes, good time with family and friends, never-ending selfies, swim suits, cozy hotel rooms, and a few drink are my best beach company.

The best type of relaxation is hitting the beach, away from the city life I get to enjoy nature and life itself. Of course, technology is still there or else how am I supposed to take pictures of the wonderful places I visit, like the above photo (I use my phone to take photos and edit them there as well, VSCO).

I love watching the sun set by the beach. It's just so exquisite, breath-taking, and miraculous.
Thank God for his wonderful creations.

The fun in Boracay doesn't stop after sunset, as a matter of fact, its just the beginning of everything. After the relaxing sound of the ocean and breath taking sunset, the what fun party starts at night with different bars by the beach, fire dancers everywhere, and enthusiastic tourists who are getting it on. Who wouldn't enjoy the craziness in this place?

Damn Coffee

Damn coffee kept me up all night. Its quarter to 6 and everybody in my house are sleeping while here I am wide awake in the cold thinking if I should get another cup of coffee to keep me up all day so Im knocked out the whole night tonight.

I was hoping to see the sun rise from my room today, but sadly, its drizzling outside and its too gloomy to see. I love bed weathers like this it keeps me tied up in my bed all day being my lazy self drinking hot choco if not coffee while reading a book or looking through blogs. Best feeling ever.

I am so glad I finally finished cleaning my room and let go of things that shouldn't be here anymore, like my stuff from high-school or those little boxes my sentimental self kept before. Im glad to finally let go of them and make room for new ones. Its like starting off on a clean slate, it feels so refreshing to have less stuff and more space for new ones to come. I love it so much. And it's much easier for me to do what I want now, my work place is as cozy as my bed only I need a good chair, my back hurts a lot and my chair is not helping me fix my slouching back. So yes, that's also on my list.

Im thinking of making breakfast but we're out of bread I just remembered. So I guess, I'll have to pass again today since I was thinking of making French Toast and nothing else. I wanna give my pet dogs, Patch and Butch,  a bath, too, but my mom says its too cold and they just took a bath 2 days ago I guess that one I have to do sometime, too.

So I've decided to just go back to reading while I wait.

Good Morning, Asia! Goodnight to the rest of the World.

My Late Night Jam-- Bright Blue 6/2 1:45

Seasons know so well
That we're holding on to past and present selves

Remembering our youth
All the things we swore and said we'd never do

You were all I knew
In the ocean of a crowd you'd shine bright blue

And years like time fell through
And despite myself I fell in love with you

It's the one thing that I swore I'd never do
It's the one thing that I swore I'd never do
And despite myself I'm still in love with you

I've had this song on repeat for the past hour. It just says a little and yet means so much.❤️

Here's the link, share your thoughts! :)

A Seat with A View

My love for travel has surprisingly grown in ways I didn't expect. Even if I don't get to travel as often as I'd want to, looking at photos of different places and reading about them makes me feel like I'm there, for a moment, I'm there.
So let me share some photos of my brother, Ron Garcia, from his prenuptial photo shoots with different amazing couples that will surely make you fall in love and would want to visit the Philippines.

Subic Bay Freeport Zone, Zambales is located on the west coast of
the island of Luzon in Zambales,  Philippines and is recognized for its deep
 and protected waters.
Fernwood Gardens, Alabang.
Acuatico Beach Resort San Juan, Batangas one of the finest
 resorts found in Batangas.
Grand Palazzo Royale, Angeles Pampanga.
Baguio Catholic Cathedral, Baguio City. It's distinctive pink exterior, twin spires and stained
glass windows make it a popular tourist attraction in Baguio.
Bolinao, Pangasinan.
The Mansion, Baguio City is the official summer residence of the
President of the Philippines.
Bangui Windmills, Pagudpud Ilocos Norte is the northernmost settlement
on Luzon Island. White-sand beaches and crystal blue waters makes this place a haven
for tourists.
Boracay Islands, Philippines. Apart from its white sand beaches, Boracay is also
famous for being one of the world's top destinations for relaxation and was awarded as the
best island in the world from the international travel magazine.

Tagaytay Highlands, one of the finest country clubs in Tagaytay.
Vigan Heritage Village, Ilocos Sur also known as Mestizo District is one of the few hispanic
towns left in the Philippines where its structures remained intact.
Thunderbird Resorts- Poro Point, La union

These are some of the wonderful places in the Philippines. More of these on my blog SOON! :)

A Trip to the Peak

We travel the same country like it's always the first time; getting lost at the airport and finding our way out and to our hotel is always fun and at the same time exhausting, given the fact that we get up early to arrive at least a few hours ahead of our scheduled flight(we're a family of early birds when it comes to traveling by plane, we don't wanna miss our flight). Upon arriving Hong Kong International Airport, we waited a few more minutes for our friend, Anton, at the baggage claim. He lives in Singapore and we planned to just meet him at the airport.

My sweet self giving Anton a welcome hug!

Anton with his sister, Aika,
first photo together upon arriving.

As soon as the gang was complete, we started looking for our way out, loading up our octopus cards, exchanging our US dollars to Hong Kong dollars and riding the bus that would take us to our hotel so we can finally check in and freshen up.

Hong Kong International Airport.

Photo taken amidst our search for the way out to our bus.

It seems like my family and I cant get enough of Hong kong. We haven't missed a visit to Hong Kong for the past 5 years. This place is simply amazing, most specially at night; the night lights, shows, and the perfect view from the peak of Hong kong, The Peak Tram.

Out looking view of Hong Kong at night all the way up from the Peak Tram.

My family over looking Hong Kong at the Peak Tram.
Aside from sight-seeing, did I mention my family loves to shop? and Hong Kong is just one of the perfect places to go shopping for the latest gadgets and clothes! It's cheaper and I guarantee you wont have to worry about bumping into anyone that has the same stuff you do (well, with clothes).
Another thing I love about Hong Kong is its eye for fashion. There isn't one person you'll see wearing just a tee and jeans walking around the street, everyone has their signature style. Its like New York! Everyone walking busy to work, to school, to the mall, and what not.
Speaking of fashion, my mom and Aika flaunting their
new leather jackets from G2000 and Forever21.

I dont know why but I love the thought of being away from home. It just feels so independent. Specially because, we all have our own itineraries and our travels aren't obligatory. We don't have to comply with those early wake up calls, but we do wake up early for breakfast and go back to our hotel rooms to snuggle a bit more. And let me go back to breakfast, I love having breakfast at hotels. I enjoy going around buffet tables and checking out what's on for breakfast and watching the cook as he prepares my omelet with lotsa cheese is just the best feeling ever and to top it all: Bacon. Need I say more?
Our very loving parents

The young ones while waiting for the train.

We usually leave the hotel just in time for lunch because it takes us forever to get ready, but it's a fun wait. Mostly for me, I get to change my clothes as soon as I realize Im not comfortable in them and I also get to charge my phone for longer use since we really come home late--past midnight late. We get lost wandering around the streets of Hong Kong since the train closes at 12 midnight.

On our way home from a day of gadget hunting.

Here's Anton, Aika, Ron, and tito Tony trying to go for a wacky shot. I think Aika nailed it!

...More about this trip soon. <3
